The Good Earth, LLC (a nature-based education center north of North Liberty, near Shueyville) will be offering outdoor education camps for 1st-5th graders this summer starting on the week of June 18th and running through the middle of August. Each camp will be a week long (Mon-Fri). Students will be involved in activities such as: learning about farm animals and tending to them (goats, chickens, ducks, etc.), learning about gardening and composting, studying different ecosystems and wildlife, and learning to be stewards of our wonderful planet.

The Old Creamery Theatre’s Camp Creamery program has been providing performance opportunities for young thespians for over 10 years and is now proud to announce the addition of multi-week acting classes for students who want to receive more in-depth instruction. All six sessions will be led by two of the Old Creamery’s professional staff members and will include skill building exercises and games, along with other exciting activities that will prepare students for a final presentation at the end of the course. Registration is first come, first served. Class size is limited to 16 in order to provide more individual attention for each student.
