The Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) Outreach Program is excited to host a summer camp this year! Students entering grades 1st – 6th in the fall of 2018 are welcome to attend. Students will explore Project Lead The Way’s hands-on, project and problem-based STEM learning and have a lot of fun working with our undergraduate women in STEM teachers. 

Monday – Thursday, July 23-26 
1st – 2nd Grade Session: 8:30 – 12:00 
3rd-4th Grade Session: 12:30 – 4:00 
5th-6th Grade Session: 12:30 – 4:00

The National Advanced Driving Simulator, in partnership with the Southeast Iowa STEM Hub, presents the 2nd Annual STEM Festival at the Johnson County Fair from 10:00AM-7:00PM on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. There is no fee to participate in this event and all are welcome. 

Come participate in hands-on activities using the concepts of science, technology, engineering, and math.

Active Minds is a summer program designed for students who love to move. We infuse literacy, grammar and math challenges into our movement activities. 

You can sign up for a full session or an individual day. Cost is $40 per student per week or $10 per student per day.

All proceeds go to fund North Bend Elementary Physical Education projects and equipment.
