About the Oak Hill Elementary School Library

The mission of our CCA District Library Program is to foster inviting, inclusive, innovative, collaborative,
    and culturally responsive learning environments
which empower learners to explore, connect, evaluate, and create.

Oak Hill Elementary School, the newest building in the district, is located in Tiffin, Iowa, and serves fourth and fifth grade students from North Liberty, Coralville, and Tiffin. The school has one full-time, certified teacher librarian. The teacher librarian operates on a fixed schedule with classes coming to the library on a rotating cycle for library/technology instruction and checking out books. The library has two Chromebooks connected to the library catalog and six iPads are available for student instructional use. There is an area of the library that houses STEAM/makerspace items for library use. The Oak Hill library hosts two book fairs during the school year to promote literacy and a life-long love of reading.

  • Library Circulation Policy:
    4th & 5th grades - 3 books for 2 weeks

If you do not finish your book in time, please ask to RENEW it.  Books may be returned and checked out any day of the week, even if it is not a student's regularly scheduled library day.  Fines are not assessed for overdue items, but we do ask that replacement fees be paid for books that are lost or damaged.
