About the Tiffin Elementary School Library
The mission of our CCA District Library Program is to foster inviting, inclusive, innovative, collaborative,
and culturally responsive learning environments which empower learners to explore, connect, evaluate, and create.
Tiffin Elementary School is located in Tiffin, Iowa, and serves students residing in parts of Tiffin, North Liberty, and Coralville. The school currently serves 358 students in grades PreK - 3 and has one full-time, certified teacher librarian. Tiffin Elementary has a fixed schedule where K - 3 students visit the library on a four day rotating cycle. During this time, a lesson is held and students have the opportunity to check out books. The library has two Chromebooks for quick access to the online catalog and a classroom set of MacBook laptops that students use during library instruction. The district also provides six iPads for use in the library. There is an area of the library that houses makerspace items for library and classroom use. Tiffin Elementary hosts two book fairs during the year to promote literacy and a life-long love of reading.
