About the Clear Creek Amana High School Library

The mission of our CCA District Library Program is to foster inviting, inclusive, innovative, collaborative, and culturally responsive learning environments which empower learners to explore, connect, evaluate, and create.

Clear Creek Amana High School is located in Tiffin and was built in 2009. It is the high school for the entire district, serving 667 students in grades 9-12. There is one full time, certified teacher librarian and an aide for 20 hours a week. The teacher librarian has a flexible teaching schedule that allows co-teaching in classrooms and the ability to work with groups on an as-needed basis. There are three study rooms, a recording room and a small classroom attached to the library. Due to increasing enrollment, two of the study rooms and the classroom are now assigned to other educators for instruction and student support. Students are free to come into the library during open blocks, independent study and group projects. There are MacBook desktops in the library for printing, expanded instructional opportunities, accessing supplemental digital resources, and recreational use. In addition to literacy promotion and instruction, the library serves as the initial point of contact for student computer repairs and technology questions.

    Library Circulation Policy
Students at Clear Creek Amana High School may have up to three library books checked out at one time.  Books may be checked out for three weeks and renewed an unlimited number of times.
