COVID SYMPTOMS

  • COVID-19 Advisory

    Students with any high-risk symptom or two or more low-risk symptoms for COVID-19 are recommended to stay home and are advised to seek an evaluation by a health care provider. 

    COVID symptoms are broken down into 2 risk areas, high and low, and are as follows:

    COVID HIGH risk symptoms

    • new cough
    • shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • new loss of taste and/or smell

     COVID LOW risk symptoms:

    • fever (100.4 or greater)
    • muscle and/or body aches
    • fatigue
    • headache
    • sore throat
    • runny nose
    • congestion
    • nausea
    • vomiting
    • diarrhea

    Postitive COVID-19 Test

    • If a student(s) tests positive for COVID-19, the students must isolate themselves at home for 10 days (beyond symptom onset OR positive test, whichever comes first). The student may return to school on day 11.
