When is the school board election?
Tuesday, November 7, 2023 is the City and School Election date. Polls will be open from 7 AM until 8 PM.

I'm new to the school district, how do I know what polling place to vote at?
You can use this link to Find Your Precinct/Polling Place by entering your zip code and following the search instructions. This will work for both Iowa and Johnson County.

How many school board members are up for election?
Members of the CCA community will be voting for 5 school board members on November 7. 
Vote for one candidate living in District 1
Vote for one candidate living in District 2
Vote for one candidate living in District 3
Vote for two candidates in At-Large positions 

I'm not registered to vote, can I register at the polls on November 7?
Yes, you will need both proof of identity (which everyone needs) AND proof of residence.

I live in Amana, can I vote for candidates in the other districts or for the At-Large position?
Yes, community members of the Clear Creek Amana School District can vote for candidates in all of the districts and at large positions. 

I'm out of town and need an absentee ballot, what do I need to do?
For an absentee ballot and other early voting options, please go to this link for Johnson County and here for Iowa County.

How can I learn more about the candidates?
There will be a Public Candidate Forum on October 24 at 6 PM at the High School Performing Arts Center.
