When people think of Clear Creek Amana Schools they frequently think of growth, and rightly so. CCA is one of the fastest growing districts in Iowa, with a growth of 190 students in the 18-19 school year and projected growth of 200+ students per year for the next 5-10 years. However, what sets CCA apart is much more.
The District has also earned a reputation for caring about students and their families. As we grow our Board of Education, Administrative Team, and Staff throughout the District are committed to building relationships to support students and their families.
At CCA, students benefit from passionate staff who utilize high quality instructional strategies and materials. An assortment of extra and co-curricular activities are available to meet a wide variety of interests. We have been recognized as a leader in STEM Education, we recently started an Agriculture Program, offer a variety of Advanced Placement and Concurrent Enrollment courses, and were one of the first Districts in Iowa to utilize Mental Health Therapists as part of our staff.
At CCA our staff is constantly working to bring learning to life for our students. While we focus on the academic performance of our students, we know we also need to support the social and emotional development as well. Our commitment is to continue to provide each student with a high quality educational experience that will equip them to follow their dreams after leaving our doors.
