Welcome to Clear Creek Amana Community School District Kindergarten!! Clear Creek Amana prides itself on being student-centered and is committed to partnering with parents to ensure a positive school experience for everyone. Kindergarten is a big step in your child's journey, a time of discovery and change for both them and your family.
Children who are 5 years old on or before September 15, are eligible for enrollment in kindergarten. Kindergarten students will be assigned to the elementary school in the elementary boundary area that corresponds to their home address. If you don't live in the Clear Creek Amana School District Boundaries, there is still time to submit open enrollment documents. The state deadline for Kindergarten is September 1, 2026. Registration Information for the 2026-2027 School Year
The first day of school for the 2026-2027 school year is August 24, 2026.
We are excited to welcome our youngest learners as they prepare to enter Kindergarten for the 2026–2027 school year! We wanted to share an important update regarding online registration.
Our Kindergarten registration system is currently being finalized and will open in the coming weeks. If you fill out the Interest Form below, after registration is live, you will receive an email notification with direct instructions on how to complete the process.
Kindergarten Roundup is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm, and families are encouraged to complete online registration prior to attending this event to help streamline the process and ensure accurate enrollment information.
In the meantime, we would love to gauge interest from our current PK families. If you plan to enroll your child in Kindergarten at Clear Creek Amana this fall, please reply to this Interest form.

The Clear Creek Amana Community School District has four neighborhood elementary schools serving Kindergarten students.

Other Information
Open Enrollment to CCA: For families wishing to open enroll, the open enrollment deadline for Kindergarten in Iowa is September 1. Please start here at this link: Open Enroll.
Free Transportation: Transportation is free for resident families but families must indicate they need transportation during the online registration. Bus stops and routes will be determined in late summer after the bulk of all student registrations are complete.
Child Care: Clear Creek Amana Community School District partners with Champions for the Before and After School Program (BASP) and Wrap care for Amana Elementary, Clear Creek Elementary, North Bend Elementary, Oak Hill Elementary, and Tiffin Elementary. Link to more information
Free and Reduced Price Meal Information: Students and families needing assistance to pay for school meals are encouraged to complete a an online application for free and reduced meal benefits. Applications must be completed yearly. A new application will open in late July 2026 or early August 2026. Link to Free and Reduced Meal Information and application.
Required documents to prepare and submit during registration
- Proof of Age: birth document (child must be 5 years of age by September 15 of the enrolling school year)
- Proof of Residency
- Renting: A copy of your signed lease agreement signed by both parties.
- Made an offer on a home: A copy of the purchase agreement.
- Recently closed on a home: A copy of the settlement statement.Homeowner: A copy of your most recently paid property tax bill, copy of recent mortgage statement, or printout from the Johnson County or Iowa County Assessor’s website
- Immunization Record (or Medical Immunization Exemption Form signed by a physician or Religious Immunization Exemption Form (Where to find documentation of your student’s most recent immunizations):
- Your child’s healthcare provider/doctor
- Previous school
- Your state’s vaccine registry/Public Health Department
- Military records, if applicable
- Other Medical Documents:
- Most recent physical - to be completed by a healthcare provider
- Dental Screening Certificate
- Vision Screening Form
- Options to Submit Required Documents:

- Documents can be delivered in person or mailed to the Clear Creek Amana Administration Office, located at 1486 Highway 6 NW, Oxford, IA 52322. Hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. or
