Announcing new Amana Elementary Principal, with photo of Dan Dvorak

The Clear Creek Amana Community School District is pleased to announce the hiring of Dan Dvorak as the next principal of Amana Elementary. Mr. Dvorak will officially begin his role on July 1, 2026, in preparation for the 2026–2027 school year.

Mr. Dvorak brings a strong background in leadership and a deep connection to our district. He previously served nine years at Clear Creek Elementary as both associate principal and principal, and then three years as principal at Tiffin Elementary. His experience and dedication to students, staff, and families make him an excellent fit for the Amana Elementary community.

“I am truly honored to be part of the rich history of academic excellence at Amana Elementary,” said Dvorak. “It will be my pleasure to work with the amazing students, dedicated staff, caring parents, and wonderful community.”

Mr. Dvorak shared that he looks forward to continuing the outstanding work at Amana Elementary while building on the strong foundation established by Mr. Fox and Mr. Macumber.

“Mr. Dvorak brings valuable leadership experience and a strong connection to our district. He understands what makes our schools successful and is well-positioned to build upon the great work already happening at Amana Elementary,” said Superintendent Davidson.
