NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 

High School and Middle School Additions and Renovations 

Clear Creek Amana Community School District 

In the County of Johnson, State of Iowa 

To Whom It May Concern: 

You are hereby notified that at 6:00 p.m. Central Time on April 15, 2026, at the Clear Creek Amana Community School District Administration Office, 1486 Highway 6 NW, Oxford, Iowa 52322 there will be a public hearing for the proposed plans and estimated construction cost for the Clear Creek Amana High School and Middle School Additions and Renovations project. Any persons interested may appear and file objections to the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, or cost of such improvement. 

The following is a description and location of the Public Improvement: 

The High School Work consists of construction of a new addition, with approximate footprint of 25,000 sf, to house classrooms and support spaces for the band, culinary, agriculture, and industrial technology programs and renovations of approximately 11,000 sf of the existing building. The building addition is a single story with a mezzanine for mechanical equipment. A portion of the addition will be an ICC 500 storm shelter. 

The Middle School Work consists of construction of a new addition, with approximate footprint of 5,500 sf to house a band rehearsal room, support spaces, and corridors and renovations of approximately 8,000 sf of the existing building. The building addition will be a single story with a mezzanine for mechanical equipment. The addition will be an ICC 500 storm shelter.
