The Clear Creek Amana Community School District is looking for interested members of the Clear Creek Amana Community School District to be a part of the 2026-2027 School Improvement Advisory Committee (SIAC).
Purpose and Function
Advisory Role:
SIACs advise the school board on a variety of educational matters.
Data Analysis:
Members review and analyze needs assessment data to identify major educational needs and student learning goals.
Recommendations:
They make recommendations to the board regarding student learning goals, curriculum, instruction, assessment, and annual/long-range goals for reading, math, and science.
Community Engagement:
SIACs serve as a vital link between the school district and the community, fostering a collaborative approach to school improvement.
Membership:
A SIAC typically includes representatives from various groups, with efforts to ensure balanced representation based on race, gender, national origin, and disability.
Meeting Dates:
- October 26, 2026 at 5:30 to 6:30 pm
- April 26, 2027 at 5:30 to 6:30 pm
