Amana Elementary Magnet School News Post panel

Clear Creek Amana Community School District is now welcoming families to apply for the Amana Elementary Magnet School for the 2026–2027 school year.

Beginning next fall, Amana Elementary will serve students in grades Kindergarten through 4th grade, offering a STREAM-focused magnet experience in a small, supportive school environment.

With approximately 126 students, Amana Elementary provides a close-knit setting where every child matters and is supported by dedicated staff. The school’s STREAM program integrates Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math through hands-on, project-based learning that builds curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills.

Students also benefit from Project Lead The Way (PLTW) curriculum, engineering challenges, fine arts integration, and enhanced math and science instruction aligned with Iowa academic standards. Amana’s magnet theme, Individual and Community Connections, emphasizes strong relationships and meaningful partnerships with families and the surrounding Amana Colonies community.
