Clear Creek Amana Announces Middle School Leadership Transition

The Clear Creek Amana Community School District announces that Middle School Principal Mr. Brad Fox will retire at the conclusion of the 2025–2026 school year after 30 years of dedicated service to the district and its students.

Under Mr. Fox’s leadership, Clear Creek Amana Middle School has continued to foster a strong culture of academic excellence, student support, and community engagement. The district extends its sincere appreciation for his commitment and leadership.

As part of the transition, Regan Stone has been selected as the next principal of Clear Creek Amana Middle School, effective July 1, 2026.

Mr. Stone currently serves as Assistant Principal & Athletic Director at the middle school and has been a valued member of the building leadership team. Prior to joining CCA, he served as the Middle/High School Principal at Lone Tree CSD. He holds degrees from Wartburg College and the University of Northern Iowa. He began his career in education as a high school English teacher and coached multiple sports. His dedication to students and collaborative leadership approach positions him well to continue building on the strong foundation established under Mr. Fox’s leadership.

“I am honored to serve as the next principal of Clear Creek Amana Middle School,” said Stone. “Working alongside Mr. Fox has been a privilege, and I am proud to be a small part of all that he has accomplished here at CCA. I am looking forward to the continued work to be done with our teachers and staff to ensure that CCA Middle School is a positive place for students to learn, prepare, and succeed.”

Mr. Fox shared, “We were very fortunate to hire Regan Stone several years ago as our Assistant Principal. He's done an incredible job in his current position and I'm very confident that he will do very well in his new role. Mr. Stone develops relationships and truly has what's best for kids as his guiding principle. Clear Creek Amana will have an outstanding person leading our students and staff at the middle school!”

Superintendent Davidson added, “First, I want to extend our deepest gratitude to Mr. Brad Fox, who has served as a leader at the Middle School for many years and has dedicated 30 years to the Clear Creek Amana Community School District. Brad is not only an exceptional educator and administrator, but also a great person who is deeply respected and genuinely beloved by students, staff, and families. His steady leadership, caring nature, and unwavering commitment to doing what is best for kids has left a lasting impact on our school community. We are incredibly grateful for all he has done and the positive legacy he leaves at CCA Middle School.

I am also excited that Mr. Regan Stone has been selected as the next Principal of Clear Creek Amana Middle School. Since joining CCA as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director five years ago, Regan has done a tremendous job supporting students, staff, and families while helping to strengthen both our academic and extracurricular programs.

We had a very strong and competitive candidate pool for this position, and Regan quickly rose to the top. His experience, leadership skills, and dedication to our students make him an outstanding fit for this role. I feel strongly that we hit a home run with this important hire and am confident that, under his leadership, Clear Creek Amana Middle School will continue to grow and thrive.

Please join me in thanking Brad for his years of exceptional service and in congratulating Regan as he prepares to step into this new role. We look forward to a smooth transition and an exciting future for CCA Middle School.”

We look forward to celebrating Mr. Fox in the months ahead and ensuring a smooth transition for our school community.
