TIFFIN, Iowa - Clear Creek Amana Community School District is proud to announce an increase in its graduation rate, as reported by the Iowa Department of Education. The district’s graduation rate has risen from 86.7% in 2023 to 93.3% in 2024, reflecting the dedication of students, educators, and the entire school community.

This increase significantly outpaces the statewide graduation rate of 88.3% for the Class of 2024, as reported by the Iowa Department of Education. Iowa’s graduation rate rose by 0.8 percentage points from 87.5% in 2023, marking a return to pre-pandemic levels.

“This achievement is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our students, teachers, staff, and families,” said Dr. Denise Schares, Superintendent of Clear Creek Amana Community School District. “The goal of the District has always been to support students in reaching their full potential, and this increase in our graduation rate demonstrates the effectiveness of our educational initiatives and student support programs.”

The district has implemented several strategies to enhance student success, including targeted academic interventions, expanded career and college readiness programs, and increased access to counseling and mentoring services. These efforts have contributed to higher student engagement and achievement.

“The district remains committed to providing high-quality education and resources that empower every student to succeed beyond high school,” added Dr. Schares. “This milestone inspires us to continue striving for even greater success in the years ahead.”
