University of Iowa Partnership with the Middle School
Mr. Cole's homeroom and the middle School after school art club partnered with the University of Iowa to create a neighborhood library. During a field trip to the University of Iowa last year, some of last year's 8th grade class got the chance to work on designing a neighborhood library using themes centered around Anne Frank. Themes from that group's work were integrated into the painting of the library. Mr. Cole's homeroom worked on assembly and the Middle School art club completed the project with their mural. A big thank you to the University of Iowa for reaching out to partner with us on this project!
