Clear Creek Amana Schools is excited to launch two new student leadership groups — one at the middle school and one at the high school — led by Superintendent Mr. Davidson and district leaders.

The Middle School Leadership Lunch group met for the first time last week, and the High School Leadership Lunch group will begin meeting this week. These gatherings bring students together by building to share feedback, ideas, and perspectives on a wide range of topics impacting their school experience.

Leadership Lunch provides students the opportunity to help shape conversations around what is working well, what could be improved, and what changes they would like to see across the district. Topics are driven by student interests and questions, as well as areas where district leaders are seeking student input.

In addition to sharing feedback, students gain a behind-the-scenes look at how the school district operates and how decisions are made. Meetings are hosted and facilitated by Mr. Davidson, with additional district leaders joining when topics align with their areas of expertise.

Clear Creek Amana Schools values student voice and leadership, and these new groups represent an important step in strengthening communication and collaboration between students and district leadership.
