All-State Speech results came out on February 10, 2025. CCA High School had 3 groups chosen to attend All-State which is the highest level you can get in the Iowa High School Speech Association (IHSSA).
The Boys of Waterloo (Choral Reading) was chosen as a Performing group at the All-State Festival. This group is composed of 14 members, Ella Chatham, Karley Griffin, Mackenzie Burnett, Makayla Ratliff, Sariah Sherman, Ivy Courtright, Morgan Downes, Hayden Bailey, Grace Devore, Logan Weber, James Cavanary, Carson Brandt, Kaylen Schilling, and Nicholas Schieltz
Catch Me If You Can (Musical Theatre) was chosen as a non-performing group but will still attend the festival. This group is composed of 8 members. These are, James Cavanary, Ethan Krieger, Carson Brandt, Nicholas Schieltz, Sina Thomas, Hayden Bailey, Sariah Sherman, and Jaidyn Calkins.
Finally, one of our Improvisation groups, Dumpster Fire was also chosen as a non-performing group. This group consists of Hayden Miller, Adrian Brandt, and Odin Hankins.
The All-State Festival will be held at Iowa State University on February 22, 2025
