Meet the Candidates:
The school board election is November 4, 2025.
Join us for the School Board Candidate Forum Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the CCA High School Performing Arts Center! This free event is a chance for the community to hear directly from the candidates.
The following are running for CCA School Board seats:

November 4, 2025 Voting Resources
The next school board election will take place on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Clear Creek Amana Community School District has 4 seats on the ballot. If nobody is voted in for District 2, the school board will have 30 days to appoint someone for a two-year position. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
All community members living in the Clear Creek Amana Community School District have the opportunity to vote for any of the candidates on the ballet.

2025 KEY DATES FOR SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION
If you are preparing for the fall school board elections, these key dates can help.
Monday, Aug. 25: First day to file nomination papers with the board secretary. Contact Board Secretary Lori Robertson by phone 319-828-4510 or email at lorirobertson@ccaschools.org for paperwork.
Thursday, Sept. 18: Last day to file nomination papers with the board secretary. Deadline is 5 p.m. Papers must be delivered in person to the District Office at 1486 Highway 6 NW, Oxford.
Friday, Sept. 19: Board secretaries deliver nomination papers to controlling commissioner. Deadline is noon.
Tuesday, Sept. 23: Last day candidates may withdraw. Last day written objections to nomination papers or eligibility of candidates may be filed. Deadline is 5 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 29: CCA Public Event: Meet Your Candidate event at the High School Performing Arts Center.
Tuesday, Nov. 4: School election day. Polls are open from 7 a.m.–8 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 10 or Wednesday, Nov. 12: Tier 1 canvass of votes for all school districts: first Monday or Wednesday after the election, unless these dates fall on a legal holiday, then it pushes back one day. This is the only and final election canvass for school districts located within one county.
Monday, Nov. 17 or Wednesday, Nov. 19: CCA is a Tier 2. Tier 2 canvass of votes for districts whose boundary lines fall within multiple counties: second Monday or Wednesday after the election, unless these dates fall on a legal holiday, then it pushes back one day. This is the second and final election canvass for CCA.
