School Board Elections
In Iowa, school board members, or directors, are elected to serve four-year terms. School Board elections are held on the Tuesday after the first Monday of November in odd-numbered years, on the same day as municipal elections. School Board members are an unpaid elected position.

ABOUT AT-LARGE/DIRECTOR DISTRICT SEATS
Members of the Clear Creek Amana Board of Education consist of three (3) At Large Directors, and four (4) District Directors that serve a specific geographic area of the District. Directors serve the students and citizens of the school district and they serve four year terms. CCA CSD registered voters can vote for all districts and at-large seats. At-large directors can live anywhere within the CCA school district boundaries and district directors must live within the boundaries of their district. The Director district map below shows the boundaries of the four (4) director districts.
