2024-2025 Preschool Enrollment

  • Registration for the 2024-2025 Preschool Year Begins Tuesday, February 6, 2024

The Clear Creek Amana FREE Preschool program is funded through Statewide Voluntary Preschool, with no cost to families. Preschool provides opportunities for children to develop important learning skills. Preschool offers 4-year-old programs at several CCA locations.

The Clear Creek Amana Community School District (CCACSD) is committed to providing a high-quality preschool experience. We offer a morning or afternoon preschool program complete with assessment protocols, snacks, and large and small motor development.

Preschool meets Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and is a half-day preschool program.

    • Morning Preschool:  7:50 AM - 10:40 AM
    • Afternoon Preschool:  12:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Due to space constraints, there are no guarantees of preferred morning or afternoon placement. Requests for a specific building and morning or afternoon sessions will be reviewed by building administrators and notice of placement will be communicated later in the spring. The Clipper Early Childhood Academy located at 415 Deer View Avenue in Tiffin will open for the 2024-2025 school year.  North Bend Elementary and Tiffin Elementary preschool programs will shift to the Clipper Early Childhood Academy.  If you live in Johnson County, follow the instructions with this School Finder tool to find the attendance center your child will be assigned to for Kindergarten. If you live in Iowa County, please use this link for Iowa County boundary information.

Parents can select if they want school transportation during the registration process. Students have the option for bus transportation to and from designated neighborhood stops, homes and, to the best of our ability, to currently licensed daycares operating within our district. Per state requirements, CCA schools are not permitted to bus outside of our school boundaries. Bus stops and routes will be determined in late summer after the bulk of all student registrations are complete.

    • Children must be 4 years of age on or before Sept. 15
    • Preschool is half a day, four days per week. (See all times above.)
    • Parent/guardians must complete all enrollment forms.
    • Completing online enrollment does not guarantee your child a spot in Preschool.
