2nd Semester Learning Information - Time Sensitive

2nd semester graphic

The district is collecting instructional intentions of our students for the 2nd semester.  The switch to allow students back from virtual to onsite or continue onsite will begin on Tuesday, January 19th.  This is following a 3-day break and in accordance with recommendations from Johnson County Public Health.

We understand that for some this may still be early in your decision process on how you plan to have your child learn for the second half of the school year.  Please know that we are requesting this information by November 9th so all buildings can plan accordingly.

Our intention is to maintain our current mitigation practices within buildings which includes facial coverings and social distancing whenever possible.  Students will remain in classes and cohorts for Preschool through 8th grade and the High School will continue to utilize AM/PM groupings.  The number of families that choose to be onsite affects our mitigation practices and if we need to change formats or reallocate staff between virtual and onsite instruction, we need to have time to do so.

Thank you in advance for your help in obtaining this information.  Please select the instruction learning format you plan to utilize for your child(ren) below. You will need to fill out a form for EACH child.
Thank you,
Tim Kuehl, CCA Superintendent
