Cameron Kimm, Senior at CCAHS

Recognized by Principal Kayla Amelon from Clear Creek Elementary.

Each week, Cameron comes to an elementary school to mentor a student. He has been an amazing role model and has taken the time to build a positive relationship with the student. The student looks up to Cameron and looks forward to their time together each week!

Paul Corbiere, Music Teacher at Oak Hill Elementary

Recognized by Principal Brenda Parker from North Bend Elementary.

Paul deserves to be recognized for the hard work not only in the classroom but for his after school commitment to sharing his craft of marimbas with students.  He does this on his own time, volunteering countless hours behind the scenes that no one else sees to make the marimba groups run as seamless as they do.  If you watch any of their performances you see the joy in the kids' faces, the pride they take in their accomplishments and the fun that Mr. Corbiere shows in what he is doing.  As an educator and as a parent, the connections and passion Mr. Corbiere shares is commendable.

Michelle Skubal, Data Specialist

Recognized by Sarah Gaeta from the Central Office.

When Michelle took over registering new and returning students a couple of years ago, she refined the process, updated the online registration form and helped create a new family registration packet. Michelle is fantastic with families!  She is friendly,  personable and genuinely cares about them. She takes the time to get to know them and answers all their questions.  If an interpreter is needed, she finds one. She exemplifies what excellent customer service is!

Matt Leeman, Associate Superintendent

Recognized by school board members Jen Mooney and Matt McAreavy.

When you envision a true leader you think of someone who embodies the following qualities: honesty, loyalty, compassion, perseverance and authenticity. Mr. Leeman not only possesses these qualities but helps others to find these qualities within themselves.

The list is way too long on the number of duties and initiatives Mr. Leeman has shouldered during the past three years of challenges and transitions. He continues to be that person people can look to both listen and guide them to either the action or answers needed. He puts himself last on the list of priorities and never dismisses or belittles anyone’s concern or inquiry.

Mr. Leeman, CCA is a better place because you are here, immeasurable gratitude and respect to you.
