Family:   
My family includes my mom,  my little brother,  my fiancé,  one miniature golden doodle, two cats, and many plants. 

Education:    
I got my BA in Environmental Sciences with a Spanish minor and my MAT in Science Education from The University of Iowa.

What makes you #CCAproud?   
I am proud to be a part of a community where there are so many kind and compassionate people working together to care for, educate, and love our students.  I am also proud of the way this community treats each other and pushes each other toward excellence. 

 

Do you collect anything?   
True to my science teacher self,  I collect rocks, crystals, and fossils.  I love searching for and mining them myself.   

Who was your childhood actor/actress crush?   
Johnny Depp (Captain Jack Sparrow!) 

Have you ever been told you look like someone famous, who was it?   
When I lived in India for a winter during college,  I got a lot of comments about looking like Katy Perry- that was a big ego booster.  

What did you name your first car?   
Her name was Stella.  

What is your favorite movie?   
Disney's Coco or The Phantom of the Opera
