The Sponsor A Family program for the High School Student Council this year was very, very unpredictable. However, with a plan put into place by the leadership council and board approval - they were able to have one of the most successful years ever within the program. In a year of uncertainty, there is one that will remain constant - our community's ability to RALLY around others.
Through online donations, checks, and cash considerations, they were able to fundraise over $11,000.00 and helped 27 families with gifts, food, and something to brighten their holiday season - especially in the midst of this pandemic.
With over 10 hours of shopping, wrapping, organizing, and overall balancing, the student council students did an excellent job providing hope and a smile.
