Congratulations and Good-Luck Performing at the Large Group All-State Festival!!
CCA High School State Speech competition was February 4 and Clear Creek Amana had THREE speech groups that were nominated for All-State Performing. Any All-State nomination is highly coveted, but to be nominated to "Performing" means you are the best of the best. Seven of the students qualified in two events, which is also an amazing achievement! In addition to this, our very own Tracy Williams wrote the Choral Reading piece entitled "Robin" which has brought audiences and judges to tears.
The groups perform in Ames this Saturday, February 18th at the IHSSA Large Group All-State Festival. Tickets for the event must be purchased online prior to Saturday.
Choral Reading will perform at 9:28 in CY Stephens Auditorium.
Ensemble Acting at 11:24 in the Alumni Building ballrooms.
Musical Theatre at 1:40 in Ames City Auditorium (NOT on ISU campus)
