Project: Wood gym floor removal and disposal

Clear Creek Amana CSD will be accepting bids for removal and disposal of wood gym floor material.

Successful bidder will be responsible for providing labor, equipment and transportation for removal and disposal of wood gym floor material in existing gymnasium. Total square footage is approximately 2800 sq ft.  Bidder shall conform to the construction background check process incorporated by the Clear Creek Amana CSD.  Proof of liability insurance (minimum $500,000) will be required prior to board approval of the successful bidder.  Hours of operation will be determined based on current schedules of the district and coordinated with the owner prior to removal.  Nights and weekend work may be permitted based on owner’s approval.

Project MUST be started during the week of March 8 with completion no later than March 14th

Owner (Clear Creek Amana CSD) assumes no responsibility for the condition of the material or fastening techniques used for initial install of the product.

The bidding for this item is a “No Reserve” format.

Bids, along with proof of liability insurance, may be submitted in person, by mail or by FAX to the CCA Administration Building, PO Box 487, 1486 Hwy 6 NW, Oxford, Iowa 52322; FAX: 319-828-4743 prior to Monday, February 10, 2020 at 2:00 PM.  Bids will be opened and reviewed on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 2:00 PM.   

The disposal of the floor to the successful bidder is subject to final approval of the Board of Directors of the Clear Creek Amana CSD following public hearing on the 12th day of February, 2020, at 6:00 P.M., in the Administration Building located at 1486 Hwy 6 NW, Oxford, Iowa, pursuant to Iowa Code Sections 279.8 and 297.22.
