Art Club
Who: 6th, 7th, and 8th graders
When: August-May
Days: Mondays
Time: 3:35-4:35 p.m.Sponsor: Ms. Beckley
Description: Each week will have a scheduled art activity that students may participate in. Students will also have the option of working on their own projects in a more open studio space. Students don’t have to commit to every Monday, and can come when it fits their schedules. Please contact Mrs. Beckley at nicolebeckley@ccaschools.org for permission slips and monthly schedule of art activities.
Card Club
Who: 6th, 7th, and 8th graders

Description: Join us in the STEM Center to enjoy a wide variety of card games with friends!
Chess Club
Who: 6th, 7th and 8th graders
When: September-May
Days: Wednesday
Time: 7:30-8:15 a.m.Sponsor: Ms. Gorsh
Description: Come to Mrs. Gorsh’s room 200, which is located in the 7th grade pod, on Wednesday mornings to play chess. All ability levels are welcome. Students can learn by playing and from each other. You do not have to attend every week.
Crochet & Knitting Club
Who: 6th, 7th, and 8th graders

Description: Come crochet, knit and chill with us! Newbies welcome, as I’m just learning to crochet myself! Adding knitting this year, too!
Drama
Who: 6th, 7th and 8th graders
When: December - early March - PERFORMANCE DATE: Friday March 1, 2024 at 6:30 p.m.

Description: The Middle School play is a play open to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. We will practice and perform as well as prepare the scenery, costumes, etc. A great chance for lots of different types of work.
FFA Organization
Who: 6th, 7th and 8th graders
When: October-May
Days: Once a month on Wednesday morning
Time: 7:35-8:15 a.m.Sponsors: Ms. Hibbs and Ms. Amelon
Description: Students enrolled in an Agriculture class may join the Clear Creek Amana FFA. The FFA is a national youth leadership organization that focuses on making a positive difference in the lives of others through leadership opportunities, career development events and agriculture education. Monthly meetings are held at the middle school once a month during the school day. Students can participate in a wide variety of contests and leadership events if they choose to.
Robotics Club
Who: 7th and 8th graders (Max of 30)
When: September-January
Days: Friday
Time: 3:50-4:35Sponsors: Mr. Cole and Mr. Tonelli (parent volunteer)
Description: Working with high school students in a FTC club designing robots to accomplish tasks set out by FIRST Robotics. Students will participate in designing, building, testing, and competing with their robot design. Community outreach will also occur with students helping to put on events and volunteer in the community for the general welfare of the public.
