What is it?

Schoology is our Learning Management System (LMS) primarily for grades 6-12. Schoology is where our teachers host much of their day-to-day classwork, resources and assignments. Schoology is like a class website. It is an extension of a teacher’s classroom online and acts as a repository of class resources used by students every day. Parents may wish to use Schoology to:

• View more detailed grades. Please note that each teacher uses Schoology grading differently. Not all assignments may be required.
• View student coursework such as upcoming, late or missing assignments
• Help students by reviewing course materials and resources.
• Send messages to teachers

Please note that parent access to Schoology is read-only and not all resources are available for parents to see directly.

How do I access it?

In order to protect our students, an access code is required to see your students' information. You may have received an email with this access code. You can also access your code from the PowerSchool parent portal. It is located in the "Other Information" section from the left-side menu.

After registration, you can sign in and add additional children at the same link used by students here: https://schoology.ccaschools.org/

What is it?

Remind is a communication system for two-way communications through text, email or the Remind mobile app. It is primarily used for teacher classroom communication and activity/athletic group communication. District-wide messages will still be sent through Finalsite and emergency messages are sent directly to your phone number, email, and the CCA website through Finalsite.

Remind allows you to:

• Receive messages directly from teachers, coaches and administrators.
• Reply and converse directly to school staff members.
• Get messages in your preferred language automatically translated.
• Choose how you want to communicate; Email, Text message or the Remind phone App.

Parents are automatically registered for a Remind account with their email addresses provided during registration. Check your email account for an invite or sign in here: https://www.remind.com/sign_in

What is it?

PowerSchool is our district-wide Student Information System (SIS). PowerSchool holds important student and class information including:

• Student Registration
• Final Term Grades
• Class Schedules (Grades 6-12)
• Student Documents (Report Cards, Transcripts)
• Attendance History
• Emergency Contacts
• Bus Information
• Payment Links (Lunch Account, Fees/Fines)

PowerSchool stores final grades for each grading term (such as a Quarter, Trimester or Semester grades).
